Ingredients

Steak Marinade:

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil to the marinade
  • 1 tsp olive oil for frying the steak
  • tbsp worcestershire
  • 1 tsp montreal steak spice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Veggies Mix:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil for frying the veggies
  • 2 green peppers sliced
  • 1 yellow onion sliced
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Butter Glaze:

  • 3 tbsp butter salted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Cheese Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup cheez wiz
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

Bread:

  • 12 hawaiian rolls or buns of choice

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
  • Begin by adding your steak to the freezer to allow it to harden slightly, making it easier to slice very thin.
  • In the meantime, slice your peppers, onions and mince your garlic.
  • To a large pan, set to medium heat, add 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Add your peppers and onions and sauté for about 10 minutes, or until soft and slightly browned.
During the last minute of cook time, add your garlic, salt, and pepper.
Remove from heat, and set aside.
  • Grab the steak from the freezer and slice into thin strips.
  • Add the sliced steak to a large bowl followed by 1 tbsp of olive oil, worcestershire and the steak marinade seasonings.
Mix to combine and let rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • To a large pan or griddle, add 1 tsp of olive oil and set to medium/high heat.
Add your steak and fry for 3-5 minutes, or until just cooked through.
    Don't over cook.
Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Slice your buns in half, and add the bottom buns to a large baking dish.
  • Layer on the steak, followed by the pepper and onion mix.
  • To a small saucepan, add your cheez wiz and cream and gently whisk together on low heat until just incorporated and melted. About 2 minutes.
  • Pour over the melted cheese wiz, and add the top portion of the buns on top.
  • To a small saucepan add your butter and fresh parsley. Once melted, remove from heat and pour over the top of the sliders.
  • Cover will foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve right away, and enjoy!
