Taco Stuffed Baked Potatoes: loaded with spicy ground beef, sharp cheddar and topped with bacon, sour cream and salsa – these stuffed potatoes are the perfect recipe to switch up your taco Tuesday.
4 steps to make Taco Stuffed Baked Potatoes
- Bake your potatoes: wash, scrub, cover with foil and bake for 45-60 minutes.
- Cook your meat: fry until browned, draining any excess fat if needed.
- Add the taco seasoning: make your own or use a store-bought variety.
- Stuff your potatoes: bacon, sour cream, salsa, green onions and hot sauce are a few of my personal favs.
Potatoes are incredibly versatile. Their naturally creamy and starchy interior allows them to be stuffed with an endless variety of ingredients whether loaded with veggies or your favourite protein. Baked, mashed or fried, potatoes are the perfect ingredient to complement nearly any dish, and these Taco Stuffed Baked Potatoes are no exception.
